Neem’s drug development journey received a pleasing boost last week when the European Medicines Agency (EMA) approved its status as an SME for drug development purposes. This status brings with it possibility to access administrative, regulatory and financial assistance from EMA, to make it easier and more affordable for smaller organisations to develop and register new drugs with the regulator.
